Wisdom is earned, I guess.

Many things recently learned, 

I have heard from wise elders before.

But I didn’t listen then.

I guess I had to experience life for myself 

To make sure what they said was true.

I needed to

Fuck around and find out.

Life could have been less painful if I blindly listened.

Maybe I was put here to do the legwork.

I do enjoy stretching my legs.

And I’m sure they weren’t right about everything…

Some things have changed.

I just can’t think of any examples right now!
